Just got back from 3 nights at VB and 4 nights at our home, BWV. It was wonderful. Stayed in one bedroom units, which has now spoiled us for life.

We loved Vero -- went there first to relax and recharge after a long year. We didn't explore beyond the resort -- just relaxed. Breakfast in the villa, then on to the pool, fitness center, quick lunch at villa and then to the beach. We thought the rugged beach was beautiful, although would have been concerned with the tide/undertow if we had little ones. Walked the beach for hours, loved watching the pelicans soar and glide. Enjoyed dinner at Shutters each night. We will definitely go back, hopefully for a full week next time.

BWV was fabulous. Checked in around noon and stored the luggage, etc. Room was ready promptly at 4. We stayed in 4121, standard view and it was great. We had a view of the fountain in the canal in front of the hotel. Had a good view of Epcot fireworks despite a large tree. Everything was in tip top condition. All the CM's were wonderful and we received many "welcome home" greetings.

DH and I agreed that this was one of the nicest vacations we've ever had. I'll be glad to try and answer any questions

Scooter,
How is the refurbishment coming along at BWV? We are headed there in just 4 days and have a preferred villa booked and are wondering if the remodeling is completed on the boardwalk view villas.
Thanks!

There is still quite a large section of the preferred view area around the main pool (if I remember correctly which is sometimes a challenge!!) which is closed off -- scaffolding from top to bottom. The boardwalk was clear -- no work being done -- just beautiful. Hope you have a super trip...
