Just back used the DDP with DVC any questions?

TS breakfasts do not include an "appetizer" or "dessert". Entree and beverage are all they are required to give. Some however are more generous and include fruit or bread service. From what I understand using TS for breakfast other than a buffet is the least valuable. We had breakfast in the villa each morning--one of the reasons we like the plan so much is it fit the way we eat at WDW. Breakfast in the villa, lunch CS and dinner TS. We had dinner at Olivia's and found that they were stricter than some of the TS but completely within the guidelines of the plan. Appetizer, entree, dessert, add-ons where appropriate, smoothies and shakes you could have them but they counted as dessert. We did not use any of our credits for breakfast foods since we had cereal, etc. in the villa and my kids are at the awkward age that character meals are really not something that is important to them anymore--now if there were new or different choices they might change their minds.

We are just back to from using the DDP with DVC and loved it!! Glad you also enjoyed the plan. We also ate at the Concourse Steakhouse and Coral Reef and had a wonderful time at each and also some very yummy food. We are definetly looking forward to using the DDP again for our Feb. trip!!!

Someone asked about not being able to order a water bottle with a cs meal and we experienced this only at Lotus Blossom in China. With all of our other CS meals we were able to order water bottles and get the kids milk drinks but at Lotus Blossom we had to order a fountain drink only.

Patsal thank you for your report. We've been DVC members since 1991, but next week will be our first time using the DDP. We also are a family of 4 adults and think already that the plan is worth it. I'm so happy to hear that you had a great vacation and the DDP worked well for you. A lot of threads I've been reading seem to say that a lot depends on the CM, so I'm prepared for this. I was so happy when they opened the DDP to DVC members. It's a nice perk and I too hope that they keep it.
