There is no place on this planet that can come close to WDW!! I wasn't sure if our third trip in three years would leave me feeling kinda "been there, done that". NO WAY!!!
Oh my gosh! I cannot begin to tell you guys how special EACH and every trip has been. This one was the best by FAR!
My 8 year old DS had the most magical trip ever... A few of the highlights..
~ He got picked out of a huge crowd to go up and interact with Lucky the Dinosaur. (he wanted to see Lucky soooo bad this trip, he never imagined he'd get that close to him!)
~ We finally got to see the Kiss Goodnight. Purely by accident.. We were taking pictures of the castle while the crowds headed toward the exits and all of a sudden..The Kiss Goodnight!! We stood there in awe!
~ At the Magic of Animation, my DS was hoping that they would draw Pooh Bear (his favorite). Well they didn't, it was Goofy. However, the animator showed a picture from the last class and it was..Pooh! My son was disappointed. After the class he walked right up to the animator and asked if he would show him how to draw Pooh like the last class. The animator drew him an awesome picture and signed/dated it for him! He was on
~Our Mousekeeping staff was AMAZING!! They made the kids different towel animals every day and set up their stuffed animals in the window in different poses/scenes. So each night when we walked back to our room, it was the first thing they saw and they were SOOO excited.
~ Miyuki in Japan made both of the kids amazing candy animals during her show. It's all they are still talking about!
~ During the Lion King Show the chief came over and shook DS's hand and asked him if he was having a good time. DS was shocked!
Ok, I could go on and on, but I don't wanna turn this into a trip report...I know that belongs elsewhere.
Just wanted to share with anyone who might be feeling a little apprehensive about the cost, etc (like my DH used to be..lol ) WDW is worth every single penny, all the time spent planning and obsessing, and even the sadness of having to come back home to reality *sigh*
Also, I just wanted to share my absolute LOVE of Disney and the joy it brings each and everytime. All of those special people and small Disney touches really add up to BIG, WONDERFUL memories.
