was at WDW for a short spur of the moment trip. DD (age 21) and I went March 9- March 13.
Stayed at POP as this was unplanned and didn't want to spend the money for Port Orleans either Riverside or French Quarter. I usually go Christmas or in summer, so this trip was awesome. I am used to huge crowds and the crowds this week were not bad at all.

Our plane landed about 3:30pm on Monday, and we got our rental car (I always get a car), drove to Downtown Disney to go to guest services to get a rewards card to transfer my points which were paying for the hotel, and to make sure my daughter still had two days left on her pass. I had to buy a two day pass as my days were expired. All went smooth. CHecked in at Pop, and as DHS was open till midnight, went to the park, getting there about 6:30. TT was a 30 minutes wait, RNR was 40. Those were the longest. Basically walked onto GMR, did Muppets, ate dinner and saw Fantasmic. As we got there late, Beauty and the Beast and Indiana Jones were over for the night, and back lot tour was being refurbished. Lights Motor etc..was also done for the night. Watched IDOL outside the theatre for a little bit as they have a giant screen so you can see what is happening while it is going on.

Tuesday, spent the day by the pool, sunburing. The weather the entire trip was 83-87 degrees and sunny. It was great. Went to House of Blues for dinner. Went to the Virgin megastore and they have tons of albums and DVD's for $10.

Wednesday, went to Universal Islands of Adventure. Really quiet. Walked on everything, sometimes twice. Did get to see the Harry Potter construction. Went to TGI FRiday's for dinner at Crossroads.

Thursday, got to the MK about 11:00. Not too busy. Longest wait for us was Space Mountain at 40 minutes. Buzz was 10 minutes, Pirates was 10 minutes, we did fast passes for Jungle Cruise and Splash Mountain as they had hour long waits. Thunder Mountain was 30 minutes, as was the Haunted Mansion. Walked on Stitch and CP. 10 minutes for Small WOrld and 10 minutes for Philharmagic. Watched Wishes. Skipped pan as wait was 40 minutes and we prioritized.

FRiday, this morning, got up, and went shopping at the Market place. Now I am home. Since this was a real spur of the moment trip, and there was no planning, it almost seems sureal that we went. Had lots of fun, especially now that DD has turned 21 and we were able to have some drinks together. I still love that she likes to go with me, although maybe it has to do with the fact that she is a college student and has no money. :lmao:

Anyhow, had a great time, and not happy to be home in the 24 degree weather.
