I posted in the MNSSHP Thread, but just in case you don't want to sift through that long thread:
We just got back and went to the party on 10/7. We entered the park at 5:40 and got our wristband as we entered. Made our way through the exodus to Liberty square where guests with wristbands were being sent. Rides were open in Adventureland but the rest of the park was said to be closed - the CM "guarding" Liberty Square said we could go to Tomorrowland and wait for it to open (my son was chomping at the bit to get in line for space mountain). Well Tomorrowland rides never closed !! - we got there and there was maybe 10 or so people in Tomorrowland with wristbands - we rode space mountain at least 6 times with no waiting before heading to Buzz where there was no wait. It was great. It was about 7:30 before it starting filling at all. Never was a big crowd in my opinion. Stayed for the 10pm parade and saw the headless horseman. My 6yr old was falling down tired at that point when we spotted Woody on the otherside of the roped off street - parade had not quite begun. He was crying because we couldn't get to Woody (He LOVES Toy Story) - so I grabbed him and ducked under the rope and ran accross. We got Woody's autograph and photos. He was so happy. My tip is don't hang out in Adventureland with all the other wristbands go to Tomorrowland or Fantasyland - the rides will probably be running!
