Just Back...Thought you would be interested

Well..I'd say it was a bit crowded....and for the first time ever..since staying at Pop Century for the last two years...My sister and I had to wait over an hour for our bus. I think the fact the Mickey's Christmas Party was going on that evening explained such a delay. We only had this experience leaving from the Magic Kingdom to go to Pop Century...It was fine leaving from the other parks.


Something else we hadn't really encountered before...When all ten of us go together...I ALWAYS make advanced meal reservations...ALWAYS...but, when it was just the two of us...We never really "planned" out where and when we were exactly eating....Because of the "Magic Your Way" packages...I'd say those days are over....Just about EVERYBODY I talked to came with their "packages"...and if you plan on eating at a good sit down dinner each day...the "packages" are really good deals....In fact...it was starting to make us wonder if our Annual Passes weren't as good..in the end..I guess if I still bring my family..(ten people) and have the dinning plan of getting 20% off...and the best rate program is still available to me...then...I'll stick with it..otherwise..it may be something I'll look into eventually...A CM told me that since the Magic Your Way packages started...CM's have to make their dinner reservations after 8:30 (if they want to use their Disney discounts). It was nearly impossible to just be a "walk in" for most of the sit down dinner places.

Magical Express....I asked a CM how long he thought the "free" Magical Express would continue...and he replied...most likely it would continue "forever".....I thought after the 50 year Celebration, there would be a fee...but, he said there wouldn't be. This was the third time my sister and I used it..and it turned out to be great...The other two times before..weren't...so..I think they have taken out most of the bugs..

Everest Expedition: Again...a CM gave me this information....In January..CM's will have the opportunity to ride this roller coaster..(which..by the way..I was told, will also have a part where it will....go backwards) ....He said there is a good possibility there would also be soft openings as early as January and February....My sister and I took a look at it while we were there...It is awesome... They are also expecting HUGE crowds when it is completely up and going....I asked a CM if there would be a restaurant around it and she replied that there would just be "merchandise shops"...and smiled...
