6 nts at the Polynesian with DH and DD (3 years old).

Saturday--
ESPN Club for dinner
Very crowded
Very loud
Food was good

Sunday--
Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner before Halloween Party
WONDERFUL!!!
Our first time dining here and we really enjoyed the food and the service.
Characters were great!

Monday--
1900 Park Fare for dinner
Very busy and crowded but enjoyed the food and the characters. I like the character meals where they bring the food to your table better. Less hassel with a little one.

Tuesday--
Ohanas for breakfast
Our favorite character meal.
We got a table by the window with a great view.
Characters were great. They did a cute parade for the kids.
Food was very good and hot.

Polynesian Room Service for Dinner
Very good and quick. Well worth it!

Wednesday--
Trial's End Buffet for Breakfast
Our favorite non character breakfast.
Great selection!!! Stayed after breakfast and did pony rides, petting zoo, playground, and surrey bike rental.

Rainforest Cafe for dinner
Enjoyed the dinner...very busy; invest in the Safari Club Card before going and get seated right away.

Ghiradelli Ice Cream for dessert
Out of this world!!!!

Thursday--
Norway Princess Breakfast
Our first disappointment at Disney
Very rushed, food was so so, tasted like McDonald's food. Tables were really crammed together. Princesses were very nice and enjoyed their visits.

Tony's Town Square for dinner
Very nice atmosphere, enjoyed our spaghetti, got to stay in the park after it closed and got some great pictures on our way out without all the crowds.

Friday--
Kona Cafe for breakfast before going home.
Great breakfast! Wished we would have tried it earlier in the week.

Just let me know if you should have any additional questions!!!

I am glad that you had a good time. Thanks for your reviews. I am so disappointed to hear about the princess breakfast. You would think for $19.99 per adult that it would be MUCH BETTER than McDonald's food. We are going and I keep hearing such negative feedback that I am wondering if it is really worth the money. Would you do it again? Thanks

I'm sorry to say that I have to agree. The food wasn't worth the price. I know you mostly pay for the atmosphere, but it still wasn't that great. Our girls are 11 and 13 and were probably the "older" ones there. The princesses barely stayed around long enough for a picture. They very obviously cater to the very young children that were there...the one year old little boy at the next table received far more attention and he was totally oblivious and looked like he could have cared less as to what was going on. I guess I was just very disappointed because we know our girls are less and less interested in the character breakfasts and this was kind of our "last hurrah". On the other hand, when we went to Cinderella's last year, they were very good with the girls.

I'm doubly glad now that I managed to secure Cindy's if I hadn't I would have gone to Storybook one.

Thanks ever so much for your run down on where you ate :)

Wondering about the Trails'End buffet breakfast. Was it a "normal" meal--ie, was there any of the "interaction" like you find at Whispering Ccanyon?? Or did they let you eat in peace??

Trail's End was a very quiet and peaceful meal. We really enjoyed it after all the crazy character meals where you can barely eat because you want to get the video and the picture and everything. Would definitely recommend it! Excellent food and a great price!

We did the Princess Storybook last Thursday morning too. I thought the food was decent. Not the best meal I've ever had, but it was definitely better than McDonalds. My husband especially liked the potato caserole. I did think the french toast sticks were a bust though. CRT french toast was so much better! Our server didn't make us feel rushed at all and the characters were great. They took more time at our table here than they did earlier in the week at
CRT. Overall I felt it was a worthwhile experience. Like I said, I've had better $20.00 breakfasts, but the look on my 4 year olds face when she saw Princess Aurora and Mulan was absolutely priceless, it made it worth every penny. :D

Love Kona and Poly room service, too. What did you have at ESPN if you remember?

What did you get at Kona Cafe? Was it crowded?

My DD loved the Princesses at the breakfast and I have to agree that the potatoe casserole was pretty good. Maybe our server was just really busy. We could hardly get another cup of coffee before he was bringing us the bill.

My DH had a hamburger and I had the chicken breast sandwich at the ESPN club. I really enjoyed mine. It was just really loud for my little one.

Kona was a great breakfast. Plenty to eat. We ate around 8:30 and it wasn't crowded at all. I had the cheese omlete and it was wonderful.
