We spent 11-13 through 11-19 and it was amazing. We are a family of 5 with three little ones ages 4.5, 3, and 15 months. We stayed at Orange Lake Country Club which we love. So close to the parks! We were celebrating my birthday. It could not have been more magical. We were chosen as the opening family at MK on 11/15! The next day we were asked to be the first family in Toontown. My boys and I were the first family in the character spot at EP while my DH and DD rode Soarin. We met tons of characters, had generally low crowds and met so many wonderful CMs. My only complaint about the entire trip had nothing to do with Disney. We have taken our kids at all ages 8 months, 11 months, 15 months, 2, 2.5, 3, 4. So far 15 months is my least favorite age to take a child to Disney. He has been walking for about 5 months now and is too busy to be happy strapped in the stroller or highchair. He was pretty grumpy at times. We were always able to find an area sort of out of the way to let him run around and burn off some steam! On many occasions we had strangers play peek-a-boo or just talk to him while we were eating or waiting in lines (which was not too often! Low crowds ;) ) It was so appreciated! Anyway, we had the greatest time and can't wait to go back. Any questions?

Sounds like a great trip! My girls were chosen one year to open Toon Town and it is still one of our best memories...sad that this will be our last time seeing Toon Town before it is gone.:guilty:

Glad you had a great time! I cannot wait to go!

Wow! Glad you liked Orange Lake and that it's really close to the Disney parks. We'll be staying there for the first time ever in a two bedroom condo (March of 2011) and have two Disney park days planned. I've always wanted to check out that resort, so am really looking forward to it.

I just wanted to let you know that I have pulled your just back thread from the board. We know you are excited to share your knowledge about your trip, but unfortunately, we can't allow this type of thread. On any given day, we have dozens of DISers just back from trips, and if we allowed this type of thread, the boards would be hard to navigate if many posters posted this type of thread.

Additionally, the moderators feel that this type of thread is a personal message to the original poster, which is against DIS guidelines.

We encourage posters to share their knowledge and experiences by answering questions, and sharing a trip report on the trip report board.
Thanks Danny
