Hey! We just got back from our trip (11/6 - 11/11) and we had a WONDERFUL time. The weather was as good as could be imagined; mid-80's during the day and mid-60's in the evenings and not a drop of rain!! :cool1:

The crowds weren't too bad, but the MK was quite busy one of the days we were there.

We didn't see any "shocking" behavior, but I did overhead a lady asking a Cast Member if the Tree of Life was real. The PhotoPass guy dryly replied that it was ... brought over from Africa.... :rolleyes1

We saw all of the new attractions; Soarin' was very cool, Lights! Motors! Action! was great, too. Cinderellabration was cute, but I kept waiting for the bad guys to show up and mess things up a little before the triumphant ending. Still, it was cute to see all of the princesses together. princess:

We saw all of the parades at least once, saw Wishes twice, Fantasmic, and Illuminations. We love them all, but I'd watch Wishes every night if I could get to MK easily enough! :cloud9:

One of the highlights for me was to be right up front for Tarzan Rocks!, one of our favorite shows. Our DS9 is disabled and in a wheelchair and we've always been seated at the back of the theater, being right up front was a much better experience; we even shook hands with the lead singer! :cool1:

Most of the Christmas decorations were up, and BEAUTIFUL. We even saw the Christmas-themed Country Bear Jamboree ... really cute and funny.

We were on the Dining Plan and used our TS credits to eat at the Hoop-de-doo, Boma, Hollywood and Vine, and Biergarten. We love the Hoop-de-doo, bad jokes and all!! Boma was the highlight, however, it was *excellent* ... some of the best food I've ever eaten at Disney (and I've never had a bad meal there!) Hollywood and Vine was another great buffet; good food and good deserts! The food and show at Biergarten was good, too, but we didn't get into the whole "eating at other people's table" thing. It might have been more fun if we'd been matched up with someone who was also just arriving, but we were sat with a family who was already eating and it was a little wkward to say the least.

We also used a bunch of snack credits at the Food and Wine Festival; from Ireland, Canada, and Australia. Plus we took and Australian "wine walkabout" and come home with a bottle!

Some Evening EMH observations:

Evening EMH at AK isn't really worth it. All of the animals still have to be inside before dark (4:45p when we were there) and that basically closes all of Africa, Rafiki's PlanetWatch, most of Asia, and all of the animal shows. It basically leaves Dinoland and "Tough to Be a Bug." They did run an extra Festival of the Lion King and Tarzan Rocks!, though. We would have been better off getting some extra rest!

Evening EMH at Epcot was also not really worth it. Epcot is sooo big you get really foot-sore and worn-out walking all around it. However, a nice cast member let us ride Test Track twice in a row (without getting out) which was nice as it's one of DS's favorites!

Now, time to start planning next year's trip!! :cool1:

I can ditto pretty much everything you said. We did run into huge crowds in World Showcase on Saturday the 5th due to the F&W festival.

Great report!!! Can hardly wait for the next 15 days to go by. The kids are looking forward to eating :mickeybar for breakfast. LOL

Thank you for sharing sounds like you had a great time. :goodvibes :wizard: :wave2:

Welcome back! Thanks for the great report! Enjoy planning next year's trip! :cool1:
