Dates Sept 28-Oct 5th
Me, the Husband, and 2 friends

DAY 1 –
It all started in the airport, our flight was at 8:05 out of Newark, NJ.
We were boarding the plane when I noticed someone in front of me that looked somewhat familiar. I just had purchased the 2nd Disney Trivia book and the man in front of me looked liked the author. I said “Excuse me, are you Lou” and ‘what a small world’, IT WAS!!!! It’s the man that wrote the 2 Disney Trivia books!!!
That started our magical vacation…
We arrived at around 12 and immediately checked in to Coronado Springs. We had connecting rooms with our friends. After we dropped some things off in the room, we headed to the Magic Kingdom! First thing we did was Pirates of the Carribean. AWESOME!
We walked around the Kingdom until about 5, then we went back to the room and got ready for Epcot Extra Magic Hours.
Day one was a long day.

Day 2-
Day 2 was Epcot all morning and Fantasmic Dinner Package in the PM. We were THE FIRST riders on Soarin’!!!!! Literally we followed the CM to the front and we were on First!!! At night at MGM we ate at Hollywood and Vine and it was great! Oh did I mention we had FREE DINING!!! Free dining was the best thing in the world. I couldn’t believe all the food we were eating and it was all free! Even if we paid for the dining plan it STILL would be worth it but we were eating for free, we couldn’t believe it.
Fantasmic was disappointing for me at the end the characters didn’t come out on the huge ship at the end ??? I don’t know why! And that was my favorite part of the show last year. Also Mickey only ended the show on the bottom, he didn’t do his whole sorceror thing on the top of the mountain. I’m still wondering why that was ???

Day 3-
We went to MGM and did all the MGM things, nothing interesting happened that day. In the PM we ate in Mexico at Epcot YUM. OH and we CAN NOT get that song out of our heads, we sing it constantly “Hola mis amigos.. la la la la la laaaaa” from the Mexican boat ride!

Day 4-
This was Animal Kingdom day. We arrived for the opening and headed to Everest but it was still crowded so we fast passed it. So we went on Kali River Rapids and got SOAKED! We went on Primeval Whirl and that’s when we got our FIRST DISNEY DREAM!!!!! They gave out Free Year of a million dreams Mickey ears!!!!!!!!
This was EMH night at Magic Kingdom. We were so tired but still continued to get everything out of each day. Also Day 4, October 1st, was our anniversary! We ate at Cinderellas Royal Table and loved it. It was so worth the 2 meal tickets we had to use. They gave us free wine flutes that say ‘Cinderellas Royal Table’ on them. We also caught Spectromagic and Wishes. There were NO LINES and we went on Big Thunder so many times in a row!

Day 5-
We woke up late and went to Downtown Disney. I got a huge Caramel Sundae at Ghiradelli. That night was Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party!!!! I loved it! We went last year too, but this year was just as good. We all went ‘trick or treating’ and they give out so much candy! It was so funny, we went on Barnstormer and there was no one riding so they let us go on 4 times in a row. MNSSHP is worth the $35!

Day 6-
The others wanted to go to Universal so I went too. It cost us $80 for a round trip taxi!! That night we ate at the Maya Grill in our hotel. It was delicious!

Day 7-
We were exhausted so we just went in the pool all morning and the PM, around 5pm we went to Epcot for EMH again. We ate in Germany. It was so much fun. I was very upset we were leaving the next day L

Day 8-
Epcot in the AM, we went on Soarin again and also Test Track. It was a very exhausting day. Got to the airport at about 4pm. Home at 10pm. L

Coronado Springs was huge and I probably won’t stay there again. I love the WL so much that this place didn’t compare. It was nice and all, but I didn’t ‘feel’ the magic there. But I can't wait to go to DISNEY again!!! We're going in May for Star Wars Weekend and staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge!!!!
Hope you enjoyed my report!!
