We just returned from WDW last night! What a great time we had!!! :cool1:

I will do separate dining reports for each of our TS (table service) restaurants.

Cast of characters included:

Me (wife and Mom), age 36
DH (aka Prince Charming), age 42
DD13 (aka Princess #1)
DD9 (aka Princess #2)

We stayed at WL for 8 nights on the FREE dining plan. The credits are still pooled, so we had 32 TS, 32 CS, and 32 snacks.

On our second day, Sun. 8/28:

Sci Fi Diner - used 2 TS credits and paid for kid's meal out of pocket. We had a late lunch here. We were late once again. It started to pour rain as we left MK to come to MGM, so that made us late PLUS we got a little lost finding MGM. When we did arrive, we were almost an hour late and we weren't sure if we'd get to eat here.

We waited a LONG time here (about 45 min.) and we kept hearing them tell people they were not accepting any more walk-ups for the rest of the night! Finally we got seated and did get a car.

We had Frank for our server. He was okay, but didn't play along like the other servers did (telling the kids they were the drivers, etc.). We said we were on the dining plan and were going to use 2 credits and pay for our kid's meal out of pocket. He had no problem with this and acted like lots of people do it.

Appetizers: 7 bean chili (DH ate this and liked it) and onion rings (good!)

Entrees: 1 order of ribs (DH ordered the half rack and Frank said, "Oh, I'll give you the full rack). The ribs came with fries. DH and DD13 were going to split them, but DD13 didn't like them. I tried a bite too and they were YUCKY!

We also got 1 chicken sandwich with fries. This was good and DD13 and I wound up sharing it and DH ate the ribs (he's not nearly as picky as us girls are ;) ).

Desserts: WE got 1 hot fudge sundae (this was delicious, but we were so full we couldn't eat it all) and DH and DD13 shared a moon pie dessert (they said it was pretty good).

Drinks: Frank encouraged us to get milkshakes (he was all for us racking up the bill). So we got 2 chocolate milkshakes and DD9 got a soda with her kid's meal. The milkshakes were very good!

We waddled out of here - it was so much food, even with just using 2 credits!

We received 2 bills here. One for the 2 dining plan meals (would have been $80.33) and one for kid's meal (they added an 18% tip to this also). That was $6.22 with tip included.

We often tipped extra when we shared. Another strange thing - some places included a 15% tip and others included an 18% tip.

Next I'll write about Hoop De Doo Revue (a trip favorite!!!!!!!) ... stay tuned!

Thanks Momoftwo...!

We'll all be waiting for your all the rest of your TS accounts. I hope you do CS experiences too!

I also feel that using 3 credits for a meal will be too much. I am glad to hear that splitting seems okay on the plan.
