Just got back from a wonderful trip. I'll be posting a trip report, but here are the hightlights:

We drove down, stayed at CYM DD from the 10-15th. I-75 was not that jammed, and the only construction we saw from Nashville to Orlando were just south of Dalton and just noth of Valdosta. Even that wasn't that bad.

Tour Guide Mike ROCKS! :D When we followed his advice, we were able to do what we wanted to do and have little stress, the times we didn't follow his advice were a nightmare.

The crowds are perfectly manageable with fastpass. As the week went on, the crowds seemed a little smaller. Until the crowds go down after labor day, I would advise NOT going to MK on Monday afternoon/night.

I don't think there's anyone left in Great Britain. They're all in Orlando. I hope the last person out turned off the lights.

Does every woman/girl under 30 have that same tatoo on their lower back?

Trail's End is not only the best value on property, if you're from the South, it's the best food.

When your nuerotic 6 year old says he doesn't want to ride something LISTEN TO HIM.

No offense to others, but I really missed Southern subtlety. Most people were very abrupt and direct - just on the borderline of rude. In Nashville their behavior would be considered rude, but when in Rome er, WDW...

All in all, it was a fabulous trip full of wonderful memories. I'll be glad to answer questions after I get back from Church today.

good to hear both of those statements - will be driving I-75 from Knoxville & wont get to test TourGuideMike until December!

go VOLS!

My thought is that people are starting their dis trip on Monday (first day) and most people like to go to MK first thing. I think Sat. is ee for MK but I'm not sure what the other day is. We have always experienced more crowds at MK on Mondays and Saturdays. We usually go during the off season though so they aren't too bad. I think it also depends on when you are going.

Actually Sunday is EE for MK, but Mondays and Saturdays have always been crowded at MK. The general wisdom is that everyone wants to start their trip at MK and most people arrive on Sunday and go to MK on Monday. We always visit in the off-season and always avoid Mondays and Saturdays and have done OK so far.

Glad to hear that you had a wonderful trip.

Unfortunately not all of us in the UK are at WDW :( We have to wait until Dec. for our trip to the World.
