We were only there for the weekend and stayed at DVC so not a lot of eateries to report on.
Cast of Characters. Me, 29, DH, 31, DS, 7, DD 6
Dinner - Cape May Cafe - well they raised their prices to $23.99 but added a prime rib station. The dessert bar is off to the side now and has fewer selections than before, but still a fair variety. I still pigged out there. The night we were there they had BBQ ribs and this really good marinated chicken. The greens beans and mashed potatoes were heavenly. Still mussells, clams, fish, so the seafood lover will enjoy. Kids ate well - some off kids food, some off regular buffet. They loved the paper on the table to color on. DH wasn't impressed with Cape May our first time around last year, but is glad I convinced him to go another time because this time he really liked it. A definite return.!!
Lunch - ABC Commissary. Good place for a simple and fast lunch. Large seating area, really appreciated the A/C on that hot day. Had the burger, the veggie stir fry and kids had chicken fingers. Try this place out if looking for a good counter service place in MGM.
DInner - 'Ohana - we have to eat here every trip. We love the food! Kids love the coconut races and hula contests. As usual we stuffed ourselves. The shrimp is still a little spicy for me - but I am not a spicy person at all - so don't let that scare you off trying it. One word of advice - if your kids are wearing pin lanyards, take them off before the cocunut races. DD lost one of her pins and we never did find it.
Snacks and Such at Beaches & Cream - neat theme, still too small. If Disney reads this - PLEASE expand into the arcade and move the arcade elsewhere. B&C desparately needs more room. We did takeout every time because it was so crowded. The burgers and ice cream, all that we ate was very tasty.
