Just back...not thrilled with Marrakesh :(

We were just in WDW for our annual Halloween birthday trip!
Loved it as usual. However, we tried Marrakesh for the first
Time in Morocco and really were less than satisfied. There was
A very nice ambiance, but the cuisine left a lot to be desired!!
It wasn't bad, just bland...and not very plentiful! We upgraded
Our TS selection for $7 and ordered the Marrakesh Feast.
(that basically was to cover the appetizers). We would've been
Better off just ordering individually. Then, to add insult to injury,
The tip was $30!(20%...the waiter was great, we loved him and
The busboy for that matter...very attentive; the only saving grace)
We still love Morocco, but I think we'll stick to the Tangerine Cafe!

I will never go back and eat there again. I thought the food was horribly bland too!

And the Belly Dancer only did her thing for about 5 minutes total by the time she dragged poor unsuspecting kids onto the floor and tried to teach them to belly dance.
Sorry but I thought that was uncool. I don't want to see other peoples kids dance.

If my husband wants to see the Belly Dancer he's going to have to wait for her to perform outside. LOL

Some people love the food and others dont........It wasnt because it wasnt good when we went ...it was because I didnt care for it...

The belly dancer...is really very talented and when she does it outside too...

I don't think we'll go back there again. We ate there for the Candlelight processional package last year. I don't remember what we ordered, but mine was a little too spicy - hubby's was a little bland so maybe I got all the spice. But the big drawback is the noise and the arrangement of the tables. We didn't have a view of the dancer and the tables were so close together that you felt that you were eating at one long table.
