Crystal Palace - As lovely as ever. We were seated very promptly and the food selection and staff were good. However, Poohs hand got "caught in a honey jar" so we never got to meet him. My little boy wanted to meet him very badly though, so the waitstaff told us to stop by later in the day to meet him. We did. Pooh came out to take pictures with us and it was great!

Coral Reef
- We were taken in about 4 min after arrival. Our waiter was decent, though service was a little slow. Food was delicious, I had ordered the strip steak and it was cooked perfectly. Used the bathrooms during our meal and found them to be on the dirty side. Finding clean bathrooms was tough this trip. Seems they are getting harder to come by.

Hollywood & Vine Breakfast - Characters were great. I loved the choices on the buffet. They made an apple crisp that was amazing and I also enjoyed the corned beef hash which I didn't find at any other breakfast buffet. Our table was setup against a wall, so we had to take pictures on the other side of the table which had large windows in the backround, it ended up messing up almost all of our photos because it threw off the lighting. Still fun though.

Yak & Yeti - 2nd favorite meal of the trip. Fantastic waiter. Longest wait to get seated though, in past trips this restaurant was always almost empty but with the new dinner package for Jungle book it seems to be packed. So we waited about 10 min to be seated. Food was fantastic as usual, I got the chicken Lo Mein and it was delicious!!

Tusker House Dinner
- This was a new one for us. The characters were fantastic and I loved their outfits. I tried many of the foods on the buffet but didn't find anything that I loved. It was a little underwhelming for me. Even the desserts didn't seem overly delicious. We likely wont go again but I did love the decor and ambiance inside the restaurant.

Be Our Guest Dinner - FAVORITE meal of the trip. This is our third time here and it never disappoints. We had the best waiter of our whole trip here, he was friendly, attentive, and a really nice guy. We were seated in the main ballroom. I ordered the braised pork and it was fantastic! Only hitch was that the beast was on a break when we arrived in his study for a picture so a line had formed quite long. Overall we waited maybe 10 min to see him but it was worth it.

Via Napoli - WORST meal of the trip. This was our first and last time here. Service was incredibly slow!! From the hostess, to the person who refilled our water, to our waiter they were all very grumpy seeming and not friendly at all. We waited forever for our food and then only 2 peoples food came. We figured they just wouldnt hold it all. NO. About 5 min or more later the other 3 peoples food came. It was strange. Who serves food separately? And of course my 2 year old was one with a later meal. So he wasn't happy that others had their food but not him. It was bad! I ordered the pasta carbonara and I could only eat about 5 bites as I found it incredibly over salted!! I'm not the type of person to shy away from salt either. But for what it's worth my 12 year old loved his pizza...

Teppan Edo - Not as magical as we remember. Food was just okay and the experience seemed to not have has many tricks in it while cooking as we have had in the past. We had the onion volcano and that was it. A little underwhelming for the price. May skip it next time.

Chef Art Smith's Homecoming (disney springs) - Ambiance and decor was fantastic. Our waitress was good and attentive. Even the glasses, silverware, and napkins were themed wonderfully. I ordered the fried chicken dinner. It was okay. But I wouldn't say it was better then any other fried chicken I'd had before.

Cape May Breakfast Buffet
- Characters were good and came around quickly. Our server named Elias was fantastic and funny. The food was just okay. My husband and kids loved the cinnamon buns, though my daughter was disappointed that they don't have pancakes. Likely, because they serve crepes at a station.

There are my thoughts. Hope you enjoy!

Thank you for sharing -- nice report. We have found the same about the service at Via Napoli. Would need to find out from those who have traveled to Italy if the service is typical for the culture. Still, we enjoyed our meals there.

I'm glad you had a great time!!

I agree wholeheartedly with you regarding Via Napoli, we went last year for the first time after many years of debating and wish we hadn't. The food wasn't the best and the service was horrible. At least you can at least say you tried it once.

We have loved our Via Napoli experiences but last year the server started out very grumpy but then seemed to force herself to be nice. That was ok with us. Forced niceness is better than grumpy. Maybe management is giving staff a hard time. We like the food and Italian beer and try to go every visit.

thanks for the quickie reviews. I lol'd at your "long wait" of 10 minutes at Y&Y. I don't think they participate in the jungle book package though, just TH and Tiffin. Nice to see the ones we are looking forward to got good reviews :)

It was only long compared to the past where we always walked right in and compared to the other restaurants who all pretty much took us in within 4 min or so of being there.

And it probably felt longer then 10 min to me since I had a hungry 2 year old waiting with me

yeah that is an hour to a hungry 2 year old. I'm glad to hear waits were generally short. it is the biggest waste of disney time lol

Thank you for your review! Going in October and have ADR at Via Napoli, hope we get a different CM;) Quick question, did you have an ADR for all of these or did you just 'walk in?' Rookie here and although we have a few ADR's, we are hoping to just wing it, especially our MK day. Thanks!

Sorry to hear VN was such a disappointment! We had a very nice waiter named Alejandro in July, and our food was delicious (albeit a little slow to come out).

Glad to hear the staff at CP was so great in having you come back to meet Pooh!

Definitely give breakfast at TH a shot next time! It was the best breakfast...huge variety!

I too reacted to your "long" wait of 10 minutes. I get that you had a hungry 2 year old. But I think you were very lucky to have your "long" wait of only 10 minutes. We usually wait way longer than that for every ADR.
Glad you enjoyed your trip.

Thanks for sharing your reviews.

During our May trip we ate at Via Napoli twice. The first time was delicious -- we each had a different pizza and everything was really tasty and well prepared. The service was friendly and attentive. So good we decided to cancel one of our other ADRs later in the week and book a second Via Napoli meal.

The second visit was disappointing. This time my son and I had pizza and my DH had the chicken parm. My DH received his entrée at least 15 minutes before the pizza arrived for the rest of us (DH was almost finished his meal when ours arrived.) We asked our server and he told us that the separate kitchen areas -- the pizza one and the main kitchen -- are run separately and it can cause meal prep times to get out of synch if there is a delay/problem in one kitchen. My DH's meal was very good but the pizza arrived late and was overcooked with hardly any toppings -- nowhere as good as the previous visit.

Thanks for your reviews - we're hitting many of the same restaurants in Feb. I'm hoping for one of the better Via Napoli experiences (it was a request by my ILs, so it stays on the plans).

We had an ADR for them. I doubt any of them were taking walk-ins.

Thank you for your review. We will be going to Via Napoli (my son insisted on going there to try their pizza), Yak and Yati, Chef Art, and Teppan Edo in November. I have question on Teppan Edo. Did you notice if other tables also "lack" entertainment? I'm still debating if I should keep Teppan Edo....

If you have good Japanese steakhouses in your area you will be disappointed in this one.

Thanks for the reviews! That's too bad about Via Napoli! I'm glad you liked Hollywood & Vine. Doesn't always get the best reviews but I think the character interactions here are very good! I think we want to try Cape May next visit so I am glad you head good service even if the food was just alright. Happy that it sounds like you had a great time!

One other table seemed to have more, though it was a rowdy crowd so they could have been creating their own excitement. I suppose it depends on the chef as well. Once our table was full we waited over 20 min to even have our chef appear, which seemed longer then in the past too.

I'm sure whatever you choose will be fine. But I agree with the PP, the hibachi places around my house were more entertaining and have better food.

Thanks for your review. We ate at BOG last year for lunch and the food was great, loved the grand ball room. It's nice to hear a positive review of BOG!

So glad I made an ADR for Yak and Yeti for our Jan trip. It will be our first time, and the place looks gorgeous, with a menu that will please everyone. Glad you gave it a thumbs up!

PS - my condolences, since your trip is over . . .

Thanks for your review. I share your thoughts about Via Napoli. DH and I ate there on our adult's only trip a few years ago and we were both so excited to try it and we left feeling very underwhelmed. We have no plans on returning.
