We were at Epcot and my friend and I were riding Mission Space while our husbands entertained the kids at the water squirter thing. Well, as those of you who know the area know, there is an ice cream stand right near that area and there isn't an ice cream stand at Disney that my husband doesn't love (it is an addiction to the Mickey Head Cookie Ice Cream sandwiches, I think. It amazes me that he doesn't gain 20 pounds on our Disney trips!). Well, my husband waited in line to get his Mickey Cookie sandwich fix when it happened......

He approached the man behind the counter and ordered his ice cream. The man asked him what time it was and after Jeff answered he said, "This one is on Mickey." Yep. My husband won a free Mickey Head ice cream sandwich.

Castle stay? Dream Fast Pases? Special ears? Trip to all the Disney parks? BAH! For Jeff, it was all about the free ice cream. :) He was thrilled!

Anyway, he was so happy that he shared the ice ream with our little one then went back and paid for another. :) Crazy, but it did make his day! :)

We barely saw the dream team, but our vacation was so magical and wonderful that I probably could have stood right in front of one and never even noticed. :) And hey......Free ice cream! :)

That's REAL Magic!!! So glad you had a great trip. My DH is all about the ice cream too!:goodvibes

Isn't it funny how the little things in life can make you happy. Glad you had a great trip.

I didn't see the Dream Team either, but when I did it made my heart race, but I knew you couldn't chase them down, I just sighed and figured Oh well.

Thanks guys!

Jeff actually went back to the same stand the next time that we were in Epcot, but I told him that he was pushing his luck. :)

We had an amazing time. :) Already re-booked for The Wilderness Lodge too, which was magical for me!

I'd take a free Frozen Banana or Chipwhich anyday of the week..hahahahaa...

Thanks!:goodvibes

Yep! MGM. They drive out and you can get your picture taken with them. Those pictures were last year. This past week she was wearing a Cars dress that I had made and Mater honked at her! She was thrilled! :)

I cannot even tell you how excited my boys will be! One of the twins is an absolute CAR fanatic and the other, while he does love Cars, is crazy for Star Wars! Our last trip was when they were 2 1/2 (they are 6 now) and so MGM wasn't all that exciting for them after the Playhouse Disney show. This time will be an entirely different experience! Earlier this week I found out about the HS musical pep rally - that has my DD (10) beside herself! Looks like MGM will be a good time for our family this year! It's 6 months away - I've GOT to stop sitting in front of this computer!!!

We too just finished a very magical vacation...may 8-15th....glad to hear that you did get at least one magical moment....we did not win any dreams, but had a few magical moments. This is off-topic, but how did you get your border for the Cars pictures....I assumed it was off of Disney Photo Pass, but was told that the Photo Pass pictures are not allowed to be taken of the Cars characters....I have seen several of these borders for the Cars pics but for the life of me cannot figure out where everyone is getting them....please share....thank you so much!
