Just back from a quick 4 day trip that surprised us with the crowds, but it was still worth it!!!!

MNSSHP: Loved it! Started with dinner at LTT at 430 and realized we should have told our waitress to keep our portions on the small side. I hated knowing that so much food was going to waste. I'd rather start off with small amounts and ask for more than throw away food. Wandered over to Tomorrowland for walk on Space Mountain, Buzz, and C of P. Waited for pictures and trick or treating until out into the other lands. Lots of good treats, fortune-telling, magician fun. The story teller in Liberty Square is not to be missed, and we did the story before the parade. I think now I'd wait for the 2nd parade. I'd also keep the day pretty low-key since we all tired-out by 11. Our kids loved dancing in the fog coming from the train station. Feel free to ask questions!

Fine Food and Wine: We thought this is better spread over 2 days. We were pretty full when we reached America and didn't try much more. We bought the recipes, so I'll have to try my hand at a few of them. I think with a longer trip, we could do much more with all the festival has to offer.

A few other thoughts: We ate at the earliest seating time at Donald's Breakfastouras. This enabled us to eat through the buffet without the crowd that followed in the later seating times and allowed us to talk right out before the rope drops to walk on all the "dinosaur" rides (rode twice in most cases) as well as the River Rapids (twice). When we left around 11, the crowds were now "thick," and we had avoided it all.

Is the World of Disney always crowded?

Feel free to ask questions . . .

We had a blast at MNNSHP too!! Crowds were pretty high while we were there, too! Found out it was some 2 week vacation in England, and we were there then. Did you go on Stitch?? It was so bad!! We didn't like it!!

We just got back as well, had a great time even though we were part of this tragical oops I mean magical gathering....I too was very disappointed in the crowds, It was the busiest I have ever seen it, I got sick in the middle of the trip and during the Mnsshp I managed to lose my gold bracelet my dh gave me for our last anniversary. All in all though it was a great time but after a week of fighting the crowds I was ready to come home, which for me with Disney is a first. I am still just sick about my bracelet. I checked Lost and found religiously but I doubt that it will ever be found. DD left her lanyard on the bus and it was recovered but I doubt that the bracelet will ever be. Mnsshp was an absolute blast, lots of great costumes, the parade and the fireworks were great and dinner at LTT was awesome. Hope everyone else had a wonderful time too.

Beastlover, how do you get a pic in your sig or post one altogether?? I'd love to share some of my pics but I can't figure it out.

Beastlover - I realized I forgot to write about our Stich experience. We kept checking to see about a soft opening, and on Monday mid-morning, 9 workers were in front of the ride, and one actually had the script to read to the audience. However, they all kept to the official line that "it opens on November ??" and wouldn't give us a clue as to when it would sneak open that day. We kept checking and no luck and then went on Goofy's Barnstormer and came back to find it open, but with a 45 minute wait. We didn't want to risk running late for our flight that afternoon so we passed on the opening. We were so frustrated and had wished one cast member had just given a slight little hint to stick around without really giving away too much. I know they were following policy and doing their job, but it is so hard to explain this to 3 kids under 10. So to read you didn't like it, I feel much relief!!!

Miniefan - I'll try to get some "pixie dust" your way to help recover the bracelet. It seems we have lost things on every trip, so I know the frustration. One was a shirt my son made so it was very sentimental, like your bracelet. :(
