Well of course we had an excellent trip. We stayed at Best Western for 3 nights and Orange Lake Country Club for 7 nights.
We did so much....
The Halloween party was a blast. At first we thought it was mobbed, but then we realized that there are so many things to do it really helped to spread everyone out. They had free face painting, characters everywhere, 2 parade times, ghost stories, fortune telling, trick or treat stations, hula hooping, balloon animals etc. There was something going on all over, SO the rides were'nt too bad. We walked right on several and did all the other stuff too. It was very productive.
We also went to Universal and IOA if anyone has any questions.
The weather was hot. Thankfully several days were overcast which really helped and of course there were some showers, but nothing that ruined the whole day. The last few days it was really hot and sunny.
The crowds were moderate I would say. We usually go in August when it is really packed and I was hopng it would be a lot less, but it was still pretty packed. Some days were better than others. I would defiantely reccomend avoiding Saturdays at MK. We could barely walk throught the crowds. Epcot was never busy. We could always go there if the others were too much. I think we did pretty good, but it was defiantley more crowded than I thought it would be.
The kids were so good. Our DD is 8 and this was defiantely her best year. She tried several big rides and finally ate enough to make it worth the money we pay for her to eat (especially at the character meals). Our ds is 3 and he had a few melt downs over toys, but he liked the characters this year and I got so many pictures. He never napped and woke up each morning excited to go. Its funny but this morning (our 1st morning home) he slept till 11:30. He was obviously catching up. Dinners were a little tough. We found it best to not eat too late and to not order appetizers (makes the meal a little quicker).
Lastly, I went 6 months pregnant. I was defiantely tired, but I seen many pregnant women and some who looked much further along. I am not sure I could've made it in another month. I get so uncomfortable standing for long periods, but I am sure that everyone is different. I went on lots of rides and skipped lots too. My dr said I could go on aything I would take my 3 yr old ds on so thats what I did.
Anyway, if you have any questions please ask!!!!
