Just back, left POP and went to Coronado Springs

Do they charge you any fee for checking out early if you don't like a resort and if you have already paid will they refund your money?I wonder if the new resort will honor a AAA rate if you decide to switch does anyone have any experiences with this situation?

We were refunded our money at POP, however, even though we did have a AAA rate, we could not get a AAA rate at CSR. At first we were told the money would just be transferred to CSR, however, upon check out the person didn't know how to do it, so they refunded my money and then I had to pay for CSR in full.

To be fair, this really isn't a black mark against the hotel It's a *parent* thing. No matter where you go and stay, there will always be parents who neglect to supervise their kids.

I in no way thought this was a "black mark" of the hotel, I completely hold parents responsible. I realize that POP could not possibly control this. It just happened to be one of the reasons we decided to leave. I will note, however, that we never had this problem at CSR.

I merely addressed your original comment As for not having the problem at CSR, that's great. I've experienced it at CSR, GF Concierge, WL.. just to mention a few. Kids just get excited at Disney

We are staying at Pop for the first time in June.

We LOVE CSR and would have stayed there but this is a budget trip so Pop it is. I hope we don't encounter what you did, but like someone else said, it could happen at any resort. I'm glad you were able to switch!
