We had a great time and the resort was very nice. We loved watching the animals from our savannah view room. We did not hear or see any construction the whole time we were there.
The only bad note was the airport check-in service. It was a nightmare. Disney screwed up somewhere along the lines and had me on one flight and Dh and kids on another, with our luggage going somewhere else. We were eventually told we couldn't take advantage of airport checkin and had to take all our bags and strollers with us on the magical express. The airport check-in person CM told me I had to call Delta because there was a problem with my ticket. Long story short...there was no problem with our tickets, but for some reason, the Disney CM's made several errors and gave us conflicting info several times. In the end it all worked out and we had a great trip. Just make sure you verify with airport check in well before your scheduled departure time in case of problems.
