Hi All,

I just got back so thought I would share some of my highlights with you.

Quiet Parks: So quiet, I was able to walk straight onto Buzz's Laser Blast, Autopia, Peter Pan and the new Ratatouille ride (awesome btw!). I only waited 20 minutes in the Princess Pavillion and it was easy to get good spots for parades and dreams.

Character Interaction: Best I've had in a long time. In the princess pavilion, sleeping beauty talked and laughed with me even though I was a solo adult traveler. Eeyore left the parade to come dance with me and pat me on the head as I was wearing an Eeyore hat and the characters at stars n cars were great, really taking time to chat and take lots of pics.

Randomly meeting Elsa, Anna and Merida: Just as I was going to get my bag from guest relations storage on my final day, I decided I still had time and opted to have a drink in Cafe Fantasia and when I walked into DLH, Anna and Elsa were by the big Christmas Tree and Merida was just leaving. I managed a quick selfie with Merida then got some pics and chatted with Anna and Elsa...a perfect random encounter and again it was only me and one other couple!

Bistrot chey Remy: Fantastic little restaurant, very french (in the most positive way!) and yummy. I had the Gusto menu which was a fois gras starter, I had steak for the main (perfectly cooked to order) and a tart tatan to finish. Great theme'ing and a really nice atmosphere puts this one top of my future eateries list.

Mickeys Fireworks: Not much to do with Mickey, although he was there but the fireworks were great...very fantasia like along with the music, got the pleasure of seeing it twice, it was great.

Off-site hotel l'Elysee val d'europe: It was my first time off site and I wasn't disappointed, room was huge with two large double beds, cleaned everyday and shuttle to the parcs were always on time, no exceptions. Nice for only £40 per night!

Ok...now my only low - I was sick the whole time  It was rubbish but the parcs being so quiet made it workable and the regular shuttles back to the hotel allowed me to escape and sleep then return to the parks - not ideal but I soldier'd through and didn't let it spoil me trip!

Happy to answer any questions x

Having just got back yesterday from a 5 night stay, can only echo what you said about the crowds! Walked on every ride pretty much! Only long queue was to meet the princesses!
