We just got back from a WONDERFUL trip!
We did some more eating at WDW this trip than the previous trips. Here's where we ate:
~Crystal Palace - We've done this one before and as always, it was great! We had a dinner PS for 4:00. It was busy when we got there, but we were seated right on time. The characters were excellent and made it to our table at least 3 times each. The food was excellent as always. The desserts are sooooo wonderful and so much to choose from. A+
~1900 Park Fare - Our first time for this one. We had PS's for 8:10, Cindy's Gala Feast. Again, very busy when we arrived..but we were kept busy with Fairy Godmother in the waiting area
We were seated right on time and had a wonderful waiter. The restaurant is lovely! The food was probably the best we've had to date! I cannot rave enough about the selection and quality. We all LOVED the freshly prepared seafood pasta and the salmon. The chicken marsala was divine! Excellent kids' selection too! The characters made it to our table twice..Cindy, Prince Charming, Suzy and Perla the mice..all took their time and really had great interaction with the kids. This definitely gets an A+++++++
~CRT - Another first for us. What can I say other than wow! The whole experience was amazing. I had feared that this could be one of those 'overrated' character dining experiences. NOT a chance! The food, the atmosphere, the staff, the characters...all top notch! There isn't another experience like it anywhere. The food was soooooo incredible. The stuffed french toast was to die for! Even the scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection! My DS loved his french toast sticks and we all loved the potatoes. Will definitely be doing this one again! A+ all the way!
~Hollywood & Vine - We did the Fantasmic Dinner package, the same as our previous year's trip. We didn't wait long and were seated promptly. Our waitress was great, however the food wasn't. I think either it went a little downhill since the last time...or we just remembered it better than it actually is. The kids' mac & cheese was way overcooked and my poor DS really only had chicken nuggets for dinner. The selection wasn't all that great and the dessert bar left a lot to be desired. The atmosphere is kind of ho-hum. I don't think we'll be doing this one again. C+
~Donald's Breakfastosaurus - This was our first time trying this breakfast. We will NEVER be doing this one again! By far, our worst dining experience at WDW ever. We had an 8:00 am p.s. and it was a major pain to make it there on time. We made it before our ps time and still ended up waiting about 20 minutes past our ps time to be seated. It was LOUD and chaotic, our waitress was very cold and disinterested. The characters were extremely rushed and my DS was very disappointed that he barely got an autograph and they were running out of the room. The food is rather average. Not bad, but not great either. ~ Sci-Fi Dine In Theater - This was our first time for the Sci-Fi. I wasn't sure what to expect because of the mixed reviews that I had read. I went in with an open mind to give it a fair chance. I'm glad I did. It was wonderful! We had PS's for lunch and were seated early! DH had the reuben and I had the BBQ chicken sandwich. Both were delicious and huge portions. The kids had chicken nuggets and mac & cheese, they both loved their meals as well. They even got the really cool glowing ice cubes. We had dessert...DH and I had the cheesecake and the kids had the cookie monster. Both were soooooooooo good! All of the wait staff were wonderful and made for a really fun and out-of-the-ordinary dining experience. We will definitely do this one again. A
~ Cosmic Ray's - Ok, so it's counter service, but I have to say..I love this place! The food is always good and the toppings bar is wonderful! DH and I got cheeseburgers and the kids got Turkey, bacon wraps with a side of grapes. All of it was very good. A+ as far as counter service goes
~ Earl of Sandwich - I LOVE this place!!! We've tried just about everything and it's ALL excellent! A+++++
~Flame Tree BBQ - OMGosh! Everything you've heard about this place is true! It was EXCELLENT!!! Awesome food, very reasonable prices. DH and I had the ribs, DD had the bbq chicken sandwich and DS had a hot dog. The food was absolutely delicious! We even got to see the Jammin' Jungle Parade go by while we were eating
I can't wait to eat here again on our next trip!! A++++++++++
~Leaning Palms (Typhoon Lagoon) - Very good for counter service. DH, DD and I had cheeseburgers and DS had the kids' chili dog meal. It came in a really cute little sandpail with shovel and goldfish crackers. It was tasty and the service was very fast! A
~ Cantina de San Angel - Counter serice again...but again very good. Dh ordered the Plato Combinacion and I had the Tacos al Carbon. Very good and a bit spicy. The black beans were very tasty! A
~ We also wanted to "eat" our way around the world in Epcot this trip. Instead of having a meal in each country, we tried to get something small, a snack, native to that country and share it just to see if we liked it. I highly recommend this especially if you have children. It's a great way to help them experience other cultures. All four of us voted and the school bread in Norway was our favorite. We also tried German chocolate, french pastries, and Fish & chips among other things.
With the exception of Donald's, we were very, very happy with our dining experiences!

I almost made an ad-ressie (for it this week) for august. Think we will still skip it this trip, accept for the getting there thing our experience was the same.

I don't normally have dreams about food, so it must be good.
