Just back from a quick 4 day getaway. What a great time to go!! A mix of kids back in school and hurricane Ivan lurking.

We did a lot of buffets 15 people 6 being kids.

1900 Park Fare dinner- Loved it! The character interaction was great. There was a great selection for dinner. I especially liked the pasta bar and the banana's foster for dessert.

Chef M's breakfast- 11:00 was great to do 2 meals in 1. How I love a breakfast buffet!! lots of yummy egg selections. 3 different kinds if potatoes, Mickey waffles, pancakes, bisquits and gravy, fresh fruit, everything was yum!

Hollywood and Vine dinner- I read a lot on these boards about H&V either people love it or hate it. We loved it, there was so much variety. The turkey pot roat is a must! The service was great. I would go again in a heartbeat!

CRT lunch- What a great suprise to see Cindy and Aroura in the lobby when we got there! We weren't expecting that! The pretzel rolls were delicious. My sandwich was OK nothing special. Certainly not worth $12. I should have listend to everyone on these boards and gotton the domo's pie or the salmon sandwich. They looked wonderful! We saw a couple get engaged! How cute with the ring in a glass slipper. I cried. Then saw cinderella and the fairygodmother again on the way out. Cinderella actually rode on the elevator with DD-3! Although the food wasn't great the atmosphere was and that is what you really are paying for

Pizzafari AK lunch- I had the hot Italian sandwich and thought it was great. A little messy but really good. Much better than the ham and turkey sandwich at CRT!! The special amber beer wasn't bad either. A good quick lunch.

Wow, great reviews. With 15 people eating at a buffet probably is your best bet for seating and cost.

I was glad to hear that you liked your 11:00 breakfast at Chef Mickey's. We leave in 10 days and my PS is for 11:00 too. Was it crowded?

Also glad to hear positive things about H&V. After reading post, I was thinking about changing that PS but will keep it.

Thanks for the reviews.

Quick question. In most cases were they able to seat your entire party together or did you have to separate? Thanks.

Jamie

15 people!!! yikes :earseek:
i always want to do the really late breakfast buffet thing at Chef Mickey's, but i can't tear myself away from the MK once i'm there.

Oh how cool to get engaged in the castle!!!
I would have cried too!

I would love more on how you were seated with 15 people too,
we have a party of 11 and EVERY PS I have made we are sitting atleast 2 tables if not 3. Just wondering how that is going to be.

Thanks for the reviews!

We had no problems being seated together. Keep in mind that it wasn't crowded at all so that really helped. In fact at 1900 and H&V we were supposed to be split up but they put us all together in the half booth tables which was great. We were also seated early at every restaurant.

Chef M's was crowded at 11. It was the most crowded restaurant that we ate in.

I was shocked at CRT. There were at least 15 open tables and they were turning walk ins down. I'm in the restaurant business so I understand how it works with scheduling of servers etc. but they had more than enough staff to accomadate those extra tables. Bummer for all of you who got turned away:( :(
