Just returned from eight wonderful days at BWV - here's where we ate:
Breakfast - Mostly were in the villa from our groceries or the BoardWalk Bakery (which did not disappoint!) Our final morning we had breakfast at Spoodles. I had the breakfast pizza which was out of this world. DH had the Italian, which he thought was good but he thought mine looked better. Kids had pancakes & bacon.
Lunch - Again, we mostly had snacks in the parks late morning and had late lunches in our room. One day we ate at Backlot Express at MGM and I had the worst cheeseburger I ever had in my life! It spelled like it had fallen on the charcoal and someone just picked it up and threw it on the bun! I was later told I should have complained but I did - 10-YO DS shared a chicken finger with me and 7 YO DS shared his french fries with me. DH had the chicken wrap which he enjoyed. After this I was a little leary of the fast food, so we ate most lunches in our room.
Dinner - we did much better here than lunch:
ESPN Club - We ate here Sunday night after arriving to catch some football. It was packed but we only waited about 15 minutes. Warning - portions here are humongous! We all split the nachos. DH had the Tuna Salad sandwich, which is made from a real tuna steak and not from a can. He really enjoyed it. I had Chicken on the Field, which is like a Caesar Salad with buffalo chicken strips and bleu cheese. It was excellent but I could only eat about 1/3 of it because it was huge. Older DS had chicken fingers (I think he ate them every day) and younger DS had a cheeseburger. They could not finish their fries. If you are tempted to get appetizers here, consider splitting an entree!
Chef Mickeys - Went here before MNSSHP on the 31st. As always, lots of fun and characters. DH was especially fond of the prime rib, and I was partial to the baked grouper and parmesan mashed potatoes. Kids stuck with pizza and chicken fingers (again). The salad bar had a cold crawfish (I think) salad that was surprisingly very good.
Cape May Clam Bake - This was our first time trying this buffet bfore our Illuminations Cruise. It was awesome if you like clams and mussels! 10 YO finally had some clams and corn on the cob with his chicken fingers. The ribs and the potatoes were good as well and the clam chowder was excellent too.
Le Cellier - This was the best meal we had on the entire trip! DH had the salmon appetizer (smoked salmon, baked salmon, and a salmon cake) and I had the cheese soup (incredible!). DH went for the Herb Crusted Prime Rib and I tried a special Surf & Turf with a 5 oz lobster tail and 5 oz filet minion. I was not sorry! Kids had the usual cheeseburgers and chicken fingers. Amazingly they prefered the sourdough breadsticks to the the pretzel bread. This was our most expensive meal at $125.00 (DH and I also had Molsons) but it was worth it.
Restaurant Marrakesh - First time eating here as well and we weren't sure what to expect. Well, it was not a mistake! DH and I started with the Combination appetizer which was Beef Bratwet (sp) rolls, Chicken Bastilla, and the salad. First bite was a little strange because of the powdered sugar they sprinkle the rolls with, but it was good when you got over the sugary taste. For dinner DH and I both got the Seafood Sampler, which was baked salmon (very good, not dry), some smallish shrimp in a tortilla-like edible shell, and Seafood Bastilla (which was my favorite part). Kids got baked chicken (no fingers here) and a hamburger (they did not have cheese). The atmosphere is fantastic, and we were seated right next to the musician and bellydancer. We would definately return.
I've rambled on here long enough - but if anyone has any questions feel free to ask!

I will take your advice and just mention to our server that we have a cruise planned just to be on the safe side.
