I hope this will help someone
When viewing the parades, sit where it ends. We did this at MK for the afternoon parade and at MGM. There was only very few people and p[lenty of seating. You see the floats go back into the "garage". It is really neat. You get the best view and DD got picked to goin in the parade at the MK!!!!!
If you have an infant with you bring your own stroller, much more comfy. Also bring a carrier. I had my Baby Bjorn and it was great! I used it when taking the baby on rides and to just give him a break from the stroller.
See Wishes. Best spot was on Main Street.
If you see Fantasmic at 7pm, you can make Illuminations at 9pm!! We did this. We just walked from MGM, past the BW(got icecream)and entered Epcot saw Illuminations and then walked back to our resort(BWV)
We have never waited in line to see Fantasmic. Like this time we just arrive 15-20 min before and there is always a seat. No long wait with 2 small kids. This may only work on the off season.
Use the baby care centers if you have small children. There is an area with chairs and tv for siblings and great areas for feeding baby. They had everything you could possibly need for a baby.
Don't overpack!!! I can't tell you how many things I packed because of "what if?" The resorts and parks had medicine for babies, the forehead thermometers, food, etc., etc.
Lunch is cheaper so we almost always made this our big meal and had a small dinner.
Bring bkft items from home and eat it in the room. Saves money, and time.
Share some meals. If someone is a light eater, if the portions are big. Order an appetizer and 1 entree, share them, have them come out together.
DD hardly ate when we ordered her her own meal. We were wasting food and money. From now on I will do the above with her.
If you are on a budget, consider driving. It saves us a ton of money, we had our own car while there, and the trip wasn't bad.
If driving and you have kids, a tv/vcr/dvd is a must!!
If I think of more I'll post!
