Going to try to make this short and sweet, we had a great trip but we are so tired! We stayed at the Poly in a Standard Studio. It was great having 2 bathrooms but with 5 of us in the room it definitely felt a bit tight after a few days. I wish we had splurged on a nicer view as ours was of the parking lot. We were in Pago Pago which was close to the TTC for the monorail to Epcot and MK. We took Uber to DHS and AK. We really liked the lava pool despite the chilly air and the food at Ohana and Captain Cooke's. Still haven't tried Kona or Trader Sam's, maybe next trip. Ohana brought out scrambled egg whites at the breakfast at our request.
Worth it Splurge: Tiffins - a great meal, and the ROL package makes it a better if not great value on the dining plan for 2 credits because you get an appetizer too.
Not Worth it Splurge: MNSSHP - never again will I do a evening hard ticket party with young children. They just conk out too early. Older DS managed to wake up for the 1st parade and we left before the fireworks.
Favorite New Ride - FoP - it was amazing. One of the theaters broke down and we got some pixie dust with a Navi Fastpass for the longer wait (about 40 minutes in the FP line) Navi was a lovely ride too, especially nice getting to see the beautiful queue at night.
Least Favorite New Ride - Frozen. We got lucky and it broke down right after we got off. I can't imagine waiting 70 minutes to ride it, never mind it breaking down. Just wasn't that exciting.
Best Updated Ride - Soarin'. Wish I had saved our FP at Epcot for this so we could have ridden it twice.
Least Favorite Updated Ride - Mission Space: Green. Zzzzzzzzzzz
Favorite F&W Snack - Filet at Canada. Yum! Passion Fruit/Vodka slushy at France also great.
Favorite QS - Satul'i Canteen
Worst Line - Starbucks in AK. Waited 30 minutes to order, and longer for sandwiches to finally make it out of the magic microwave they have there that takes forever. Next time will always get breakfast at the QS in our resort. Runner-UP: Columbia Harbour House in MK before MNSSHP. Another 30-40 minute wait just to order. Would have used mobile order but we were on the DDP.
