We're just back from our trip (3/6 - 3/10) and had a great stay at Port Orleans Riverside. We had never stayed there before and we very happy with the room and the resort. We have stayed at both moderates and deluxes and thought POR was one of the best we have stayed at so far.
We requested a room in the mansion section and were placed in Magnolia, room 8776. This was a great location as it was a very short walk to the main pool and to the food court. The room looked like it was refurbished very recently as every thing looked brand new.
We thought crowds were pretty low and were able to walk on most things at MK, but we were there at opening. Same thing for MGM and AK - we got there for the opening and walked on everything we wanted to do. We went to Epcot for an afternoon and even Mission Space had no wait. We did the EMH at MK and once again the crowds were low and the lines were short.
We did character meals at Crystal Palace and Breakfastasaurus for breakfast and did Chef Mickey's for dinner one night. Food was pretty good - especially the breakfast - and the character interaction was the best we have ever had. The characters came around so often that my 1 year old wouldn't even look up from his food after awhile.
We did lunch at San Angel Inn in Mexico and really enjoyed the atmosphere there - it is our favorite place to eat in Epcot.
The weather was sunny and in the low 70s - we managed to get to the pool 3 days of the trip. We had one cold rainy day, but turned that into our outlet shopping day, so no harm done.
We also stayed in South Florida, near Ft. Lauderdale from 2/27 - 3/6 and had a great time there too, btw. A little time at the beach and a little time in Disney - a nice way to spend a vacation
Feel free to respond with any questions.
