Hi all,
Rented a car for the first time 2/26-3/8. SUV for $341 with Priceless code. Not a great rate, but no time to shop for better.
Pick up with Emerald Reserve was such an amazing breeze, I could not believe how easy it was! The sky cap walked us over to the regular line, and it took me a second before I realized I didn't need to be there! Just walked to the SUV row, got in the car and drove off after a quick -- like 90 second --
stop at the booth.
Drop off was more problematic, but not National's fault probably. We pulled in, a woman came over and noted our arrival and mileage, and called us a sky cap, who never came. We waited and waited. By this time, no National employees were in our row -- they were two rows over -- and the parking garage was a ghost town. We had two strollers with sleeping kids in them and 6 bags and two car seats so no way could we do it ourselves. I trekked over and asked a National employee for help -- English was not his or any of their first language, so maybe he did not understand me -- but he pointed to the rental carts and walked away. We did finally get a sky cap, on our own, by going into the terminal, and eventually all was well. Without that little problem I would have said it was a perfect experience.
Loved having our own car for the trip!!
