Just Back -- FYI's and what I observed...

We only plan to see each 'night show' once because it is too stressful being at these events at time. The last time we were at MK it was an E Night and we just stopped where we were and watched the fireworks while we were on our way to the Country Bears Show.

We never plan to stay for the Illuminations again now that we have seen it once (it was beautiful, but too stressful).

We haven't seen Fantasmic yet, but are waiting for when we stay at Beach Club or Boardwalk so we can walk back after the show.

Next month, we want to see Wishes, I 'hope' we can see it from the sides too so that we don't have to be crowded it. That is what we are trying anyway.

MollyBelle- Thanks for your post, and my new word! I can now 'parage' with a smile knowing all my Dis friends are supporting me while I guard my spot!
Were the MK crazy/crowded days EMH days? We are planning MK on EMH Thursday during our visit, but will be getting out of Dodge after the afternoon parade! (We will be going to Spectro just for Spectro! Plan to hop from Epcot!) Any advice (STAY OUT OF FANTASYLAND ) for a good place to be between lunch (STAY OUT OF FANTASYLAND :teeth: ) and the afternoon parade if the day turns crowded/crazy?

AVOID PARAGE - I know that everyone wants everything right now and that the only place that's the "right" place is on Main Street so you can be the first ones out of the park - but for those of you who enjoy the Magic without the stress try Frontierland for the parade. It's the least crowded - the people who go there tend to be not as agressive, more polite and laid back, and there's plenty of room It may take a little longer to get out of the park but if you stroll slowly you can enjoy the beauty of MK at night. Try the boat instead of the monorail and the magic follows you all the way home!

Never mind parades - this happens in pools too! I had a jerk ask my mother (who can't swim, but enjoys the pool) and I to move from the steps at the AKL pool so his kid could play there. We'd been there for awhile and there was another pool entrance (with steps) that was unoccupied. I can't believe the nerve of some guests.

Ah rude people!! So many and so little time to tell all!! LOL!! Yes I agree with everyone here. We stopped going to parades long ago because my family got sick and tired of rude people. I'm short and always seemed to have some really tall person cut in front of me and put his child on his sholders. And always, right before the parade started, while my family had been waiting there for some time. We finally decided, as a family, it's just not worth it. Now we do rides and watch, as another poster said, from sidelines, or just passing by. And I also agree about rude people at the pools. For the life of me I can never figure out why some parent s feel it's ok to leave their kids at the pools. The lifeguards try, but it's not enough. Parents should be there to supervise their children. I'll never forget the time I was hit with ice cubes that were thrown by someone's little darling at the pool. Also, I have to agree with the original poster. My family has had the last PS in restaurants for years now. Love it, tons of character interaction and most times the restaurants are way less crowded.

Glad you had a good time and thanks for posting!!

LOL... I had to laugh at this one! On our April trip I found out that this 39 year old woman LOVES rock-n-roller-coaster!
I thought for some reason it was a simulated ride (I don't like upside down rides at all!!!) Then I saw it take off :earseek: and still thought, "oh, that's just to get you into the "theater". Imagine my suprise!!!!
This is now the first and last ride we always do....I LOVE IT!
Can't wait to get my fix in February!!
