Returned late last night from an almost perfect visit to Mickey's world. Yes, we had fog, rain and at times thunderstorms . . . but we had minimal crowds, no waits for any ride over 10 minutes and truly, truly felt relaxed and not pushed to run from ride to ride. Each night after playing carnival games at Boardwalk my ds(11) and I strolled 'home' without seeing another person!! It was as if we owned the park. It was truly magical.
We had a lake view room by the wedding gazebo. 6 brown hares lived in the rose garden and entertained us nightly! A wedding took place in the gazebo on Friday complete with horse drawn carriage and footmen wearing wigs!!! The couple appeared to have no family but as soon as I heard the violin I went quietly out to our balcony to see many other guests doing just the same thing. Once they were pronounced man and wife we secret onlookers burst into applause. The happy couple just looked around at all of us beaming!
If anyone has questions about the parks, etc. I'll be delighted to share.
