Just back from WLV

Oops! Guess we need another stay just to be sure we get it right! ;)
A rose by any other name ;). . .as others have said, I'm biased since I own there, but it is a most lovely, relaxing resort. I wish I could go tomorrow. And for those who posted they're going to be staying there soon, have fun! Enjoy the theming, the trails, the beach, the food, the relative quiet. Can't wait to get back in November! :thumbsup2

The kids talked me into it after having dinner at Artist Point last year. It's tough to get me away from the monorail or walking distance to a park, but the place did look great and these trips are at least partially for the kids.

216 days to go. Seeing all the positive post gets me even more excited.

WL was my favorite resort even before DVC. It was the first Deluxe Resort that we had ever stayed in and it spoiled me completely, couldn't go back to the values!!! With the addition of the DVC Villas, it is just wonderful. So glad that you had a great stay!

Same thing here. Once I stayed there during the Lodges first Christmas, I was hooked. I like other resorts during the different seasons, but the WL always holds a special place in my heart...along with my childrens hearts also.

Hurray another convert to my favorite home away from home! :goodvibes It is indeed a very special place. So glad to hear you enjoyed your stay.

I have stayed at VWL a few times and love it. Such a relaxing resort.:cool1:
Very calming to walk around and enjoy the fireplace. :wizard:

VWL is our home resort...bought it back in 2006 after staying at WL...the only thing is...we have never stayed at our home resort...even after owning it for 6 years !!!!

We have stayed at BWV, GF and BLT and our DD has stayed at BCV, BLT, AKV and VWL.

Timing is everything in life and the timing for a stay at VWL has just not worked out so far, but one of these days....
