Just back from WL

Im so glad you all had a great time at WL. I cant wait to go back.

Dont forget to look for the animal prints in the cement..

Ducks in the pool!! It wouldnt be the Wilderness Lodge without them there.

I can't wait! We are going to WDW for our very first time and staying at the WL. My dd will be just turned 8yo by then -I have to keep track of what to do with her :hyper:

....for the info about the coffee and room location at WL. I will plan accordingly and bring my own coffee and ask for a coffee maker when I check in. So happy you had a great time.:wave2:

Just posted this over on the Wilderness Lodge FAQ Thread

 Received my Disney Magazine Summer 2004 yesterday, the magazine's is titled The Readers' Choise Awards The staff had an indedendent firm specializing in on-line research, to administer a survey of their subscriber...(Disney Magazine)...many interesting questions, ranging from the personal (attraction you miss the most) to the pracitical (best place for kids to blow off steam) and covered everything in between.

What is your favorite Walt Disney World Resort?

1. Wilderness Lodge Resort
2. Polynesian Resort
3. Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge

As far as the coffee goes,,the coffee you get w/the coffeemaker in the room is not the same coffee they serve at the restaurants/food courts. I believe the food court coffee is nescafe,,the coffee in the rooms is in those filter packet thingy's,,and i don't remember the brand,,but its not nescafe. It is actually drinkable. You may still want to bring your own,,but its not the same brand. It comes in a packet w/a stirrer, napkin, sugar packet and powdered cream. The coffeemaker is also a 4 cup sized one. I've always gotten enough,,but last time we were at AKL,,they said i got 1 packet,,and did i want decaf/regular. I though the man was being funny,,but he wasn't. You can buy the packets in the food court, but they're like,,$2 apiece!! So bringing your own may not be a bad idea,,esp. if you're a coffee freak like me. You'll have a great time,,its a great resort, and yes, they do have towels down at the pool.

Our group of 8 voted Wilderness as their favorite. We had split the stay between Wilderness and the Boardwalk. I figured the 20 somethings would LOVE the Boardwalk area, but they preferred WL and wished we had stayed there the entire vacation. Go figure!

We were in the DVC though.

Thanks Disneymin, for the additional info regarding coffee at WL. Knowing the coffee makers are four cup pots, I will make up my coffee packets accordingly and will not forget to bring my filters. :wave2:
