Spent 5 days on a VB only trip and had a great time. The room and resort were in excellent condition. The CM's were very nice and the activites kept us all busy.

It was very windy (20-30mph) and we could not let the kids go into the ocean with the 6-8' wave. I would not go in because it was only 72 degrees. The pool is protect from the wind so we spent most of our time there.

The food at Shutters was only OK so we ventured off the resort for dinner. The Ocean Grill on the ocean in Vero was excellent. It was a little upscale but also kid friendly. We also enjoyed Capt. Hirams in Sebastian. It was more casual with an outside sand bar and good food.

We went to Dodger Town but they did not have any games the days we were there and we watched the Single A guys take batting practice. My wife compares it to the time we stop to see the "Worlds Largest Coo Coo Clock" in Amish Country:( .

The only downer (besides the drive from Akron) was our view from the 1st floor room. We could only see the airconditioning unit surrounded by 8' tall bushes.

Our last trip to VB was 4 years ago and we will probably go again in 3 to 4 years.
