Stayed in a five bedroom pool home and it was outstanding. Here is where we stayed.

The house was just as described, the rate was very reasonable as we paid @ $1400 for a whole week. The owner was easy to work with and very responsive, and the location was great. I would highly recommend this house and owner to anyone looking for a pool home near Disney.

If you have any questions please let me know, I will be happy to answer! :goodvibes

Looks really nice! My family of 4 will be staying there this June in a townhouse. The pool and facilities look super nice and the price is so great! I figure in a few years I want my extended family to come down with us and stay in one of the homes.

Was it really close to the parks? I was wondering whether they were telling the truth about the resort being 2 miles from the parks.

Thanks for any help! :goodvibes

The facilities at WH were very nice. We had some rainy days and played in the game room for a while. The welcome center staff and guard shack guys were all great! Like I said before, the owner of the house we stayed in as well the home itself was fantastic. They made everything really easy. :thumbsup2

I don't know the mileage, but I know it only took about 5 minutes to get to the parking lot at Hollywood Studios, about 10-15 minutes to every other park. It really is very close. If the stop lights didn't take so long in Florida it would be even faster! :rotfl:

If you are staying offsite I would totally recommend Windsor Hills. I will say I do still prefer staying onsite (it's just a feeling I get while onsite!) but if we ever decide to travel with extended family or a group of friends again (we were travelling with my BIL, SIL and 1 year old nephew) I would not hesitate to stay there again. It was lovely. :goodvibes

It would only be 2 miles to Animal Kingdom, maybe 3 to DHS but since Disney is so big it will take you more to Epcot and MK. It took us 7 minutes from the house in WH to AK parking lot using Sherberth Rd and we hit a red light. The traffic light can add 2 minutes or so to your time.
