Just Back from the YC!!

Just back from a week at the YC. Everything about it was wonderful. The location couldn't be beat, everything was in fantastic shape. Storm Along Bay was awesome. The dining choices were outstanding, especally Yacht Club Gally.

We were in rooms 1059 and 1057 a king room connecting with 2 queens, and our patios looked right out on to the boardwalk. Some might think this room location is too far removed, but for us it was perfect. Housekeeping was promt and efficient. I really have nothing bad to say about my Yacht Club stay. I wish I could afford to stay there on every WDW visit!

Sounds like a GREAT room!! We like the first floor rooms also!!
We love the Yacht club also. Could you tell if you booked a waterview room?? I need to look at the map I dont know exactly where your room was. Thanks!!

Our last visit to YC in 2003 was in room #1065...just down the hall from where you were. The view/location was perfect!

Welcome back - the YC is great! We haven't stayed at Yacht or Beach for 2 years...and I think the rooms have been remodeled. What's it like? Were you happy with the new look?

Is the Yacht Club Galley open for breakfast?

tnkrbell-we did book waterview rooms, and we were not dissapointed. Actually one of my aunts was given a free upgrade to waterview concierge, but asked for a different room when she found out how far away she would be from her sister and I. Me I would walk a few extra steps for an upgrade like that, but she decided agains it

PamNC- The Yacht Club Gally is open for breakfast. I didn't partake, but the rest of my family did, and they loved it! They have both a buffet and an a la carte menu. I had dinner there several times and they were the best meals of the trip. They are really trying hard at the Yacht Club Gally and it shows!
