Just back from the Yankee Candle store!

I just got back from the flagship YC store in Deerfield, MA. Sure is a busy place on a beautiful day here in New England. They've got lots of new scents(at least new to me). I picked up an Apple & Rose in a ginger jar shape. Seems pretty good to me-I always like the spicy scents. My nose is all smelled out and all I can smell now is the Clean Laundry hand soap I tried. Now I smell like laundry detergent!

We visited the Flagship Store in July. I've always loved YC... way back to 1974 when I was first aware of them. They are the absolute best, IMHO.

We have just about everything else, but no Yankee Candle store! Wahhh!!!!

I should take a ride there one day, I have no idea how long it would take me, maybe a few hrs? Anyone south of Boston gone there, from what town/city and how long did it take to drive there.

GailT-I'm guessing it would take you about 2 hours to get to the YC flagship store. The easiest route would probably be to take the Mass Pike to Springfield, then take Rt.91 North and take the Deerfield exit. Another way is by Route 495 to Route 2(Devens/Mohawk Trail exit) and take Route 2 to Route 91 South to the Deerfield exit.

I live in Western MA so I'm not too sure of North/South/East/West on these route #'s. I just think it would be worth a trip to western Mass-especially in the beautiful fall season to check out Yankee Candle store. It's the closest thing to WDW that I've seen outside of WDW! By that, I mean beautiful landscaping, the details of displays, etc.

I wish I could go in the yankee candle store, but I am sensitive to scents, and while I can manage Bath and Bady Works for a little while, the one and only time I went into YC the smell was overpowering.
