I can't begin to thank everyone for all the help, advice and tips!! It made such a big difference!!!!
We did the land/sea package...4 days at the GF and 3 at sea, and the 3 at sea were just fantastic.
DS#1 loved the clubs, we barely saw him. DS#2 did great at Flounders (I had no trouble booking any of my three sessions), except for the last night when we got beeped during the middle of "Dreams" (much to the annoyment of those surrounding us - our beeper didn't vibrate), that he missed us....so, we missed the end of the show and I left the Wonder not knowing what the surprise to the show is....
The food was fabulous - the service great. We did not do Palo - but I was surprised that while I was standing by the elevators on 8, a CM came up and asked me if I wanted a reservation for Palo or the Spa....I wasn't expecting a solicitation - I had these long lines pictured in my head for both places....KWIM?
Our cabin was wonderful - we had received an upgrade to a category 4 on 8, thank you Disney! Our Host was more than accomodating and made the best towel animals (lobster, elephant, swam)....room service even brought us exactly 8 oz of milk for the baby every night before bed.
I was expecting Castaway Cay to be great - and it more than lived up to those expectations. I do believe that the Pina Colada I had sitting on that beach with DS#1 in Scuttle Cove and DS#2 asleep on the ship and my slightly overweight DH
sitting next to me holding my hand was one of the best in my life.....We didn't head over to CC until 1:00 (when DS was booked for Flounders) and until then, had the whole ship to ourselves.....
The no swimming for the baby on board was the hardest part - I'm not gripping, I totally understand why non-potty trained children are not allowed in the pools, it was just difficult for him....it was hot and he wanted into that water sooooo bad....I mean, who wouldn't, right??!!
So, he and I kept cool inside while big brother swam with dad.
The biggest surprise was disembarkation - after having lived through RCL color calls - DH and I were totally blown away by how effortless and fast it was...we had so much time to kill before the plane left yesterday afternoon, we headed back to the World for a while.
My only disappointment - I didn't win any of my silent auctions....
....LOL
We're booking for a seven night for our 15 year anniversary in 2 years.....after the baby is potty trained.....
Again, thank you all so very much. I can't wait to do it all over again!!
