Just Back From the Hard Rock Hotel.....

Just back from another great trip at the Hard Rock Hotel. I was lucky enough to get an entertainment rate of $125 per night for a monday and tuesday stay. I wasn't able to use my Loews card with the discount, but I would rather have the discount!! The beds are still the best, better than any disney bed I've ever slept on!! I just love those down comforters!! As usual the pool is terrific and I enjoyed some margaritas at the beach club along with some snacks, it was delicious. If you have any questions just ask!

Daisie, thanks for your report. Next trip I would love to stay at HRH. I am just learning the ins and outs of Universal resorts. I have an entertainment book. I also have a fan club card. When I call to book the room, do you call the resort direct and ask for both rates and what is available? I was also going to sign up for a loews card. You can not use it with enter. rate? Would I call the phone number on loews site to book or the resort? I have 2 DDs that would like to be close to the pool with easy access. Do you know what part of the hotel would be good for us? Are there ground floor rooms near the pool???? thanks....corvair amy

I just called the 1800beastar number, first I checked availability then asked the rate....once that rate was given I asked for all the discounts that I had.......AAA, then Entertainment, Fan Club. If they are available when you are going they will honor them. We have stayed on the 6th floor and this time on the 2nd. Both have very easy access to the pool. My only dissapointment was they removed the oversized checkers on the outside checkerboard! They said they were ruined in the rain! Anywhere you are located it is a short walk to the pool, and very quick elevators.You'll love the Hard Rock!
