We returned from a fabulous trip to Saratoga Springs Resort last night. I can't describe how gorgeous the grounds are at that place. Just awesome. We were a party of eight adults and two young children so it was an extremely busy trip. I only wish we had time to explore the resort more. We ate breakfast almost every morning at Artist Palette and found the food very good. Although with the size of the resort I feel this restaurant could be alot larger than it is. We had to wait for tables every day but one. The busses were really crowded so after having to stand the first three days to everywhere we just broke down and took our cars. We kidded our DD that she must have sold our itinerary on the internet. LoL We had requested Congress Park with a view of Downtown Disney for all three of our units but when we arrived and saw the line to the check in desk we didn't hold out much hope of getting them. You can imagine how thrilled we were when all of our requests were granted. The CM at check in couldn't have been more friendly and nice. Oh and our rooms were ready and it was only one o'clock! We can't sing the praises of SSR enough. We are so happy we bought our DVC points there and cannot wait to return.

I don't think they will increase the size of AP, because the majority of the time the extra space is not needed. You went during a very busy time. During our August stay we literally ate every meal at AP by ourselves.

I am excited to stay at SSR for the first time soon! We are arriving around 2:00 and I hope our room is ready! We have only had our room not be ready early at OKW.

Glad you had a great trip!

We got there Sunday before Thanksgiving at about that time and had a choice of a couple of 2br's. Our CM checking us in did a wonderful job of pointing out the one at Congress Park is the best location(it was our first trip there).

We also just returned last week from our first trip to SSR. We had a great trip. We never had to wait for tables at the Artist's Palette, and we only had a wait for a bus of more than 15 minutes once. We were in the Paddocks, right next to the quiet pool, and it was a great location. Less than 5 minutes walk across the bridge to the main pool and restaurants, and right next to the quiet pool and the bus stop. It was beautiful looking out across the lagoon, and we could see the fireworks from Illuminations over the trees! We loved the resort, the golf course, and the spa!
