I would like to thank whoever smoked in NS studio room 1236 @ SSR!
Trip was from Nov 21-26.
SSR was really neat, we had a 2BR (room 1235 building closest to DD east side) with Garden view, but it had a DD view from Rainforest to Fulton's. DD had all Christmas decorations and music playing. I loved it! The only huge negative was that someone smoked in the studio that we reserved for my SIL/BIL. They sprayed but we didn't have them shampoo the carpets because they were there for only 4 days and didn't want to have a soaking wet carpet. I had my wife log a complaint to charge the prior occupants, but she said they kind of blew her off. I was really mad at the smoker. Pool slide was great, zero entry was kind cool, but I still like the separate kiddie pools like they have at Hilton. Pool wasn't that crowded. IMO Artists Palette was disappointing. Buses were timely. Walking to DD was great, although I took the path through the scary forest the.
On another note....
MVMCP was awesome! It was a steal for the price (I enjoyed it more than going during the day). We got into the park about 5:30 (they told us we could come at 4pm). Between 6-7pm there was hardly a soul in fantasyland. No wait for pooh, philharmagic had about 20-25 people in it. Dumbo still had a 10 minute wait! Later on, the park was about half the capacity of a normal day, with 35 minute wait for peter pan (we skipped it). We had free strollers, free hot chocolate and cookies. The parade was amazing. Kids started shutting down around 11pm, so we left. The only thing I wish I had done differently was to slow down and take a more casual pace to listen to the music. My SIL was with us and she us leading the commando style charge. I got a MVMCP pin.
