New York that is!! Visited family in Albany and we spent a day up in Saratoga Springs and the race track. What a wonderful time. DW and I were looking for all the similarities between the track/town and the WDW SS resort. We were pleasantly surprised that Disney had indeed captured the charm of the area. Even when walking around the public areas at the track, I could easily imagine myself at Disney (hot, lots of people, overpriced stuff, etc). Couldn't find any hidden Mickey's though. Lots of big floppy dress hats!!
We only stayed for 6 races, so we didn't get a chance to eat at the Carousel restaurant, but I'm sure the food would have been grand. We took a trolley from the track to the SPCA park which provided a nice ride through Saratoga Springs and past Congress Park. Lots of activities going on, and we would love to visit again.
And for those who are wondering. we broke even on our entertainment wages. Our system: $2 / Show / Horse with the funniest name
