Just back from POR

I was trying to post a trip report & pictures but the system won't let me so I will try later.


We were at POR from 10-1-10/10. Very humid, wet & crowded but that didn't stop us! We were on the free dining plan. Went to our first MNSSHP & family magic tour. My little dd even got to wake Tink!

I'm glad you had a wonderful time. We were at POR in June/July and it was pretty crowded as well.

When you say it was "crowded" do you mean the parks or the resort itself? Were the restaurants crowded too? And do you think that had alot to do with the free dining? Just curious! We will be at POR 10/24-10/31!

We were there 10/7-10/10, and I couldn't agree more - very humid and crowded! But fun of course! We had a split stay at OKW and SSR.

The food court at POR in the morning was a zoo...took us over 45 minutes to get breakfast..there are different lines for different items, then another line to pay..it was very crowded.

The lines for the bus in the morning were crowded too. There wasn't a "line" but a mob of people. It didn't matter who was there first, it was always down to who pushed their way to the front...we had 3 kids & weren't very aggressive on the bus so we always ended up standing.

But as far as the pool, the boat to DTD, & the grounds..they were not crowded which was nice.

The park were o.k. until about noon, then it got really over crowded but we planned well & used fast pass so we got on alot of rides & more than once. We saw all the parades & fireworks. We had made adr's on the 90th day so we had no trouble getting into restaurants..(I even saw a walk up get in at Le Cellier on our last day!)
