Just back from POR

We just returned from the most magical week of our lives! Although I had requested a room in the AB section, we were placed instead in Bldg 15 of the Mansions (Partierre Place). Our room was beautiful and pretty close to the lobby and South bus depot (although, after all day in the parks, it SEEMED like a long way home, lol). Our mousekeeper left us several cute little towel animals and one day, left us an entire Mickey, head to toe! The beds were comfym, and the room was big enough for the four of us (me, dh and 2 teenage girls). Saw lots of little critters (lizards, bunnies, squirrels) but even though we searched, no gators, lol. Enjoyed the quiet pool, bus service was great (just be prepared to be the furthest bus stop from all the parks). Did the surrey bike, which was a lot of fun. Boat to DD was very relaxing. Overall, was very satisfied with POR, but next time, will probably book a value resort, because we truly were only in the room long enough to sleep and shower. I am glad you had a wonderful stay! We also loved POR and had no complaints about our stay there a couple of years ago.

If you decide to go the value route, I would suggest All Star Music. It has the nicest landscaping, not as extensive as POR of course but its been newly refurbbed, is the quietest of the values and it would probably suit your needs very well.
