Just back from POR riverside Magnolia Terrace

We absolutely LOVED!!!!! this resort! We had a great location. Second floor overlooking the quiet pool, a minute walk to the bridge that took you to the main pool and main building area which was maybe a 5min walk. Everything was beautiful from the room to the grounds. We loved the quiet pool, the max was 8-10 people and thats pushing it. Main pool was always busy and my DD preferred the quiet pool. This is the only resort we have stayed at but we did travel to a few and I have to say I would take POR over many of the deluxe we saw. I'd be happy to answer any questions. Can't wait to return to POR!!!!

I love POR. Every year we make it a point to stay there at the beginning of December. It is by far the best moderate resort in my book. I have never stayed in the mansions, just the AB rooms.
Now for my questions, since I will be checking into POR on Friday, Decmber 3rd.

1.)Was your room newly renovated?

2.) Did you request it if it was?

3.) Did you request the mansion side or was that the luck of the draw?

Yes our room was renovated all the Mansions are and Magnolia Terrace was the building i requested. I did notice one of the AB building was being renovated but not sure which one- just ask when you check in. It really pays that I researched before we went because I feel we had the best location IMHO anymore questions I'll be happy to answer1
