Just back from POFQ

Had a great trip! Was there 1/18-1/24. Only had one small issue with mousekeeping, other than that everything else was perfect!!!

Did you get to go to Scat Kats? I have always stayed at POR and have been wanting to venture over and go to Skat Kats? If so what did you think?

Going in October...did you have a Riverview room? If you did can you actually get up and see the river in the morning from your room? What floor were you on? Trying to get a feel for what to expect! I'm so excited!!

They didn't come one day- we got back at 9:30 to a messy room, called down and they sent someone up to replace towels until morning- we asked why it wasn't cleaned, since we were gone all day, didn't have the do not dusturb sign out- the CM said that when mousekeeping is done for the day, they clock out and leave- if they didn't finish any rooms, then when people call down to say their room wasn't cleaned they come up later. I thought that was a bit odd...

Yes, we did have a river view room- building 2, floor 3- room 2327 to be exact. It was goregous! We could see the dock for the boats to DTD and POR just to the left of our window.

Also- yes, we went to Scat Cats one night just to relax and listen to the music- it was great!

Did it seem like the rooms needed to be refurbished? Worn carpet or chairs? Etc.

We were there over Christmas and had a wonderful time. Our carpet was worn so I would say that specific room does need some fixing up.

Did you take any photographs of your view? I'm trying to decide on which resort if we can go in December and this time I'm going to relax and enjoy some of the view that is ever so popular.

Just got back yesterday... well... we did find a surprise, dear daughter dropped something between the bed and the wall and lo and behold found an old baby bottle with,,,,well something was growing there. We went oooooh ughhhh and few times and threw it in the trash, no need to bellyache about it like the people who thing they saw a stray hair on the floor.

They only complaint... when we checked in, I was standing next to my hubbie and I had told him, please no building 1 or 7, He asked what building and they said 7. What a groan escaped my lips. Building 7 is just like NOT being in that resort. It was almost like an afterthought, and extension of the parking lot. I had to walk all over just to see where the pool was and the food court, anyways we had a car and could hitail it out quickly. No...another complaint, who died and said Budweiser was a good beer? Eyewwwww...that AND Necafe coffee.

Mousekeepers while we were there were FINE.

We didn't see any problems at all in our room- the carpet wasn't brand new, but it wasn't bad, either
