When I was researching POFQ, i loved looking at pictures, so I hope I can help anyone planning on staying here!
It was myself and my baby brother (well not such a baby anymore) and we had a great time! I've only stayed at the WL and POR, and I can say I still liked the WL more, but I liked POFQ better than POR. Check in was great, for the first time i experienced a nice, funny CM checking us in filled with disney magic! I didn't put a request on the reservation, we were in building 1, and while the location was great, I didn't like the fact that when you approached it, you saw the parking lot, i'm weird though. Mousekeeping was good, not great. I noticed when we were first in the room the corner of the bathroom was a bit dirty and one of the knobs on the coat hanger was broken. We got a towel animal when we first got there and a towel animal our last night, i tipped everyday. One thing worth mentioning was every night there was a gallon sized garbage bag between the rooms next to ours, I just found this odd, unless it belonged to the guests inside...?
We ate at floatworks almost everyday, David really liked the chicken fingers and of course the beignets. We got 3 of those every night with hot chocolate.
Bus situation is a hot topic here so i'll share my opinion. It seemed we had perfect bus timing (when we walked up, the bus was there) POFQ is the first to pick up, so we had to go to POR each morning to pick people up, it added about 10 minutes but wasn't a big deal to us. It was nice being the first to drop off too, because when you're really tired after a long night in the parks, you don't want to sit through that cycle! One night at epcot, the bus was full so we had to wait for a next one....I was okay with it because I wanted to catch a glimpse of illuminations, but the second bus was about 2 minutes behind! So in conclusion we didn't have an issue with the buses.
Okay here are the pics!
Our room was right in the center, third floor: the brick part, great view!
The Pool:
David also took a picture of every hidden mickey he could find, but i'll spare you guys
I can post that in later posts if you like
All in all we had a great stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, but I'm one of those people who has a dream to stay at all the resorts
