Just back from our first stay at AKL and we Loved it !!!

We just returned this past Tuesday Oct. 4 from our stay at AKL and it was awesome. What a beautiful resort this is, the service was outstanding. When we checked in we were upgraded from a standard room to a Savannah room so that was a magical start to our trip. We ate at both Boma & Jiko and loved them both again. We had ate at both on previous trips. We were in room 2326 and we had agreat view of the savannah.

Glad to hear that you loved one of my favorite resorts! Did you try the pepperpot chicken soup? I could go for a bowl of it right now.

ADisneygirl, They did not have the pepperpot chicken soup on the night we were there. I did try the Seafood gumbo, Mulligatawny & Paliver stew soups and they were outstanding. I really love the soups at Boma. They change the soups every night starting over after the 4th night. I recieved the recipes for the soups in my e-mail when I came home. Jiko & Boma are two of our favorite places to eat at WDW.
