Just got back from Disney (10/20 to 10/27). We stayed at Pop for our fourth time. We're very pleased with Pop's new clock radios. They have sound machines built into them. We slept peacefully to the sound of wind chimes every night. Really helped us because my DH is a light sleeper.

The food at the food court was pretty nasty as usual. My son really enjoyed dancing with the CM's to "The Twist" in the morning. They gave him a couple pins for dancing with them.

The buses were FANTASTIC. Not one complaint with those. One right after the other, five minute waits, etc. Pop has the best buses, IMO. Even leaving the MK last Saturday night right after the fireworks, there was no problem! We walked up, a bus was showing up, we got on. My DH stood to let a woman sit. DS sat on my lap and we were off! No wait.

We stayed in the 50's section, standard. We had requested 50's or 70's. This is our fourth time there and the fourth time we requested that and we've gotten it every time. We've stayed in the 50's twice and the 70's twice. I love both.

If anyone has any questions, I'll do my best to answer them! :)

We've requested Preferred rooms through our travel agent so i'm not sure what we'll get. Is there any room areas we should ask for when we check in?

If you're doing preferred you'll either get the 60's or the 50's/70's buildings that are closest to the food court.

My only concern with preferred would be too close to the pool. The pool can be very noisy very late at night. If you don't mind that, that's cool but if you think that would bother you, you can request a room "not facing the pool". Have fun! :)

I am glad to hear that about the alarm clocks. We are used to sleeping with a noise thing at home so we usually bring one. Now we won't have to.

Or you could end up with a preferred room on the back side of the 60's about as far away from the pool as possible - not exactly where we thought a preferred room would be. Plus it wasn't quiet either - at least not with our neighbors or the running, screaming kids!! :confused3

It was crowded, but the waits were not bad in the mornings. In the afternoons, the waits got up there. 70 minutes for Soarin. 70 for Big Thunder. 45 for Pooh and Peter Pan. We did the big rides in the morning, utilized fastpass for the afternoon and were fine. But we did notice that it was much more crowded than last October.
