Spent 3 days 2 nights at OKW building 64 room 6417, studio room. This was our second stay at OKW, the last being 2 summers ago when we stayed in a 2 bedroom in building 43. We didn't ask for special requests except for non smoking. Our room was ready by noontime. I thought our most recent location(bld. 64) was very noisy with buses zooming by all hours of the day and night. Woke us up several times. I think for our trip in Jan we'll ask for a different building....
Otherwise the resort is beautiful, love the tropical feeling of this resort... got lots of "welcome homes." The room was clean (although DH found a pill on the bathroom floor that didn't belong to us). Thought the food at Olivias was excellent, would eat there again. Love the ease of parking right outside the room, especially after walking all day. We didn't use the pool this time since this was a short trip, there just wasn't enough time. Overall we enjoyed our stay at OKW.

:) :) :) :)

We were in Bldg 62 and did not have a lot of bus noise, but we were up pretty early most mornings:earseek: We did hear the mowers on the golf course several mornings!

The studio rooms are on the end of the buildings thus having less protection from any noise. Glad you enjoyed your stay!

Glad you had a good trip. Thanks for the room report!

I love Building 55 - bus doesn't come here - but it is short walk to a bus stop.

I also like building 18 - but if you get an end unit - yes the buses will make alot of noise.

we were in 62, and while we felt it was a tad noiser here (bus and linen cart) than in bldg 43 two summers ago, we really enjoyed it. A big reason was our wonderful view of Illuminations from our patio ! Here was the view from our patio on the ground floor :
