Just back from my first visit to DLR...

I just returned this morning from my first trip to DLR. We stayed at PPH from June 27 until the 30th. Thank you to everyone who posts here - your tips and advice helped me feel comfortable in a place I have never been. Here is a little tip from me - unless you want to get soaked, DO NOT stand in the wet section of WoC if there is even the slightest of breezes. We had a great time and would love to go back once Carsland opens.

Did you like the PPH? We plan to stay there on our next visit. Was the walk easy? The rooms??

I did like PPH. The rooms were clean and spacious. We had a park view room and the view alone is worth the price. Watching WoC from the room was cool - a whole different perspective. We did not use the pool at all. We were at a resort in the San Diego area for four days before PPH and we were pretty much pooled out. The walk to the parks is fine. We used the Grand Californian entrance into DCA and we would cut through the lobby to get to Disneyland. We did it several times a day without a problem.
